At Guernsey-Muskingum Electric Cooperative, we believe in encouraging our members' children to pursue higher education and investing in the development of tomorrow's leaders. Through our scholarship program, we hope to empower students to reach their potential and make a positive impact in their communities.
We are proud to offer two scholarship opportunities for students pursuing higher education:
Children of Members Scholarship: Up to 15 students will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
GMEC Scholarship in Honor of Jerry Kackley: One $750 scholarship will be awarded.
These scholarships provide an opportunity to help ease the cost of continuing education while recognizing students for their hard work, achievements, and potential.
Important Dates for 2027:
- Application Deadline: Friday, February 5, 2027
- Children of Members Scholarship Interviews: Saturday, February 20, 2027
